time is flying.

I feel like I say this all the time. But, it's true... time is flying. I wish I had a remote control so I could slow down time... or slow my kid down. I've noticed the most significant amount of change in her this past month. For the first time since she's been born, her milestones and developments have been less gradual and more "Hey, mom, I just woke up and look what I can do!!"

Little Miss developed herself one hell of a personality. You guys, I think I've met my match. She's got my attitude, and boy am I in for in once she hits her teen years.
She doesn't require as much attention as she did before. She LOVES sitting up and playing, and hates being held like a baby. I admit, I already miss the days of snuggling on the couch and holding her close. I'm lucky if I get a few snuggles out of her lately.

We were given this as a gift at our baby shower. It's a Step n Play Piano, and I think we assembled it the day Chloe turned 3 months old. She didn't "get" it or really fit in the seat until she was closer to 4 months old, though.. but now? Waaaatch out. She spends half the day sitting in her piano chair, making music, spinning her toys and smiling and giggling away.

Booga-bear weighs in at a mere 13lbs, and is only in the 40th percentile for her weight. I could have sworn she weighs more, but I guess she'll be my little peanut for awhile longer. Our pediatrician said we could start solids, so we did... and she LOVED the rice we gave her... it was like we've never fed her before!

Chloe started giggling, and the silliest things make her crack up. She laughs so hard her entire body shakes.... and her giggle is beyond contagious. She's starting to sit up on her own, is trying to learn how to crawl (she gets so frustrated when she can't!!) and thinks her toes are just the coolest thing in town. Every diaper change is a wrestling match these days. She just wants to get those toes in her mouth!

Since she's a bit more independent throughout the day, I've been able to work on orders and answer emails more often which has been a true blessing. You guys are really, really keeping me busy -- and I can't thank you enough.
